Dear Brothers and Sisters,

AS the weather begins to cool and the autumn winds whisper the coming of winter I want to thank each of you for your gracious and generous support of our work together in 2012. I am richly blessed by God and my family—the church. Because of your prayers and sacrificial financial support we have accomplished many good works in the last five years and God continues to open many doors for continuing our spiritual agenda in Central Asia. Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Having just returned to the States, I am eager to update you on our work together in the ancient land of India. Our work continues to grow and produce much fruit for our Lord Jesus Christ. Almost every week our preaching students and teaching staff of the Theophilus Bible Institute return from their evangelism in the assigned villages with stirring stories of powerful preaching and genuine conversions as souls leave the man-made gods of the people and enter the Kingdom of Christ. Dear Brethren,

Namiste (Greetings) from the land of people, idols and extreme heat! It is 7:30 am as I sit in my small cottage at the Mustard Seed Village composing this newsletter. The outside thermometer shows 94 degrees in the shade. I have already changed my shirt twice this morning as my sweat glands work overtime trying to keep the body temperature in a livable range. The monsoon rains continue and with them the 100% humidity. Click Here to read more.

Greetings to all from the far side of the world. At the time of this writing I am riding on the Brahmaputra train going from Tinsukia, Assam to Siliguri, West Bengal. The train trip will take about 21 hours to complete. Plenty of time to write this newsletter to all who labor with me in this vast and varied land. Gazing out the train window we pass mile after mile of large and small rice paddies. In places the water buffaloes, hitched to primitive plows, work slowly and ploddingly to prepare the land for the small rice seedlings that will grow with the coming monsoon rains and hopefully produce abundantly to help feed the burgeoning population soon to become the largest populated country on earth.
